- Weapons safety
- Fundamentals of pistol marksmanship
- Handheld and weapon light characteristics and selection
- Weapon light techniques
- Searching techniques
- Low light manipulations and malfunction clearing
- Target identification, discrimination and engagement
- Shooting positions and use of cover
- Movement in low light conditions
- Multiple target engagement
