Overview
Monthly organized group physical fitness sessions blended with shooting drills designed for combat conditioning, exposure to stress shooting, personal equipment field testing, and team building.
Who: Any shooting enthusiast who is goal orientated on self improvement.
Prerequisites: This is not a professional firearms training course. An advanced level of safely handling firearms is needed while stressed and fatigued. You must have attended Fundamental Handgun (HG1) and Fundamental Carbine (C1) or a formal training equivalent. If you have questions about eligibility, contact [email protected].
Fitness Level Requirement: Even though this is a organized and structured session with the goal to finish completely exhausted, you will work at your own performance level. How hard you push is up to you.

When:
- At least once a month.
- During the months of May-October.
- Approximately 3-4 hours in length.
Monthly Sessions will include:
- Warmups
- Physical Warmups: stretches, short jog, ruck, calisthenics, etc.
- Marksmanship Warmup Drills: pistol, carbine, precision rifle, all, or a combination of.
- 2-3 WODS that incorporate:
- Demonstrations.
- High intensity physical fitness intervals which also include easily scored shooting drills.
- Timed interval exercises will include aerobic, strength, core, flexibility, and balance.
- A quick non-shooting and non-physical tactical challenge. Example: KIMS game, target detection drill, fire-starting, close-range land nav, lock picking, knife throwing, random infantry skills.
- Post training potluck lunch. Bring a some chow, we will fire up the grill with ice cold beverages.
Equipment Needs
Required:
- Good attitude and lots of heart.
- 1 Handgun, 3 mags with pouches, and holster.
- 1 Carbine, sling, 4 mags with pouches.
- Ammo round count estimated:
- Hand Gun: 250 rounds.
- Carbine: 250 rounds.
- Eye and hearing protection.
- Clothing
- The tactical level of your fitness clothing is up to you. But remember you may be low crawling, climbing over obstacles, in the sun, hot weapons and brass, etc. Recommend wearing athletic, but protective clothing.
- Water!!!
- Sunscreen.
- Weighted back pack.
- Land Navigation equipment.
- Observation equipment (binos, spotting scope, etc.)
- Be sure to let the Tactical Fitness Specialist know your current email & phone number for notifications.
- OPTIONAL - Weighted body armor.
- Gloves.
- Dry clean cloths to change into afterwards.
