Course Overview
Red Dot class is a 1 full day block of basic instruction on how to use a pistol equipped with red dot effectively.
Students will receive instruction and practical application of:
Minimum Skill Course Requirements:
None. It is recommended that shooters have a working knowledge and familiarity of the weapon they intend to use. You will definitely want to bring a pencil and paper to take notes.

- Weapon Safety
- Zeroing your red dot equipped pistol
- Fundamentals of red dot pistol marksmanship
- Accuracy with a red dot equipped pistol
- Drawing with a red dot
- Red dot pistol equipped manipulations
- Red dot pistol equipped malfunction clearance

Mandatory
- Personal semiautomatic pistol equipped with a red dot optic.
- Strong side holster and sturdy belt (belt or inside waistband - NO cross draw).
- 3 magazine with belt mag pouch/carriers.
- 400 rounds practice ammo (minimum).
- Eye and ear protection.
- Billed, baseball style hat.
- Suitable clothing for mostly outdoor training.
- Hat, long sleeve shirt and pants.
- Snacks and beverages.
- Notetaking Gear (pencil, paper, & clipboard)
- Extra ammunition.
- Sun screen and bug repellent.
