Title: Long Range Chief Instructor
 
Primary Scope of Work:
  • Course Development: Create, refine, and maintain comprehensive curriculums for long range shooting classes, workshops, and courses of fire that align with MTC's mission, safety protocols, and the latest technological advancements.
    • Developing courses for military snipers and law enforcement snipers.
    • Design specialized courses for civilian participants.
    • Develop syllabi, training standards, and evaluation methods.
 
Additional Scope of Work:
  • Non-Instructional Activities: Design engaging and reinforcing shooting exercises for competitive purposes.
  • Custom Training: Offer personalized one-on-one or small group private training sessions tailored to high-profile clients.
  • Services: Establish and oversee maintenance, optimization, and advisory services for precision rifle equipment.
 
Candidates:
  • The ideal candidate will have military sniper experience with a proven track record in long range shooting.
  • Prior instructor experience preferred.
  • Exhibit professionalism, excellent communication skills, and a self-motivated work ethic.
  • Law enforcement sniper experience is beneficial.
  • Must be passionate about educating, capable of simplifying complex topics into engaging structured lessons, and committed to innovating new training methodologies.
 
Schedule:
  • Seasonal Commitment: Primarily during, but not limited to, MTC's spring, summer, and fall training seasons.
    • Weekends: Involve leading multi-day courses, one-day classes, half-day workshops, and events.
    • Weekdays: Focus on law enforcement sessions, private training, and additional services.
 
Compensation:
  • Initial: $400 per day for lead instructor or event coordinator roles.
    • Bonuses:
      • $25 per day for fully booked courses.
      • 25% of tuition for new courses or events you develop, which meet minimum enrollment requirements.
      • Compensation for private instruction and special services to be determined.
  • Future: Aiming to transition to a salaried W2 position after establishing performance.
  • Benefits: Complimentary MTC recreational membership and free lunches during classes.
 
Requirements:
  • Must have access to a personal phone and computer with internet connection.
  • Preferably located close to MTC for ease of commute.
  • Reliable vehicle for daily travel to MTC.
