Hand Release Push up

  • Exercise/task name: Hand release push up’s     
  • Exercise description: To perform a hand release push-up, start in a prone position with your hands under your shoulders. Push up until your arms are fully extended, and your entire straight body is off the ground, then lower your body until your chest or body-armor touches the ground. Once on the ground, lift hands a couple of inches to clearly demonstrate all weight has transferred. Return your hands to the starting position.
  • Technique that must be performed to count: Hands must clearly come off the ground when in the down position.          
  • How to fail the technique:   Not clearly lift hands off the ground. Keep any portion of your body other than your feet and hands on the ground while pushing up.        
  • # of repetitions before shooting: 10   
    • Casual division modifier: 5    
  • Exercise equipment needed: An exercise mat if possible.
  • Weapon best paired with: Carbine, prone shooting position.
  • Recommended stage par time: 3-5
