Job Title: MTC Range Manager
Description: Handyman with a little bit of customer service to keep MTC operational and professionally presentable.
 
Details:

• Starting spring of 2024.
• Seasonal position May-October.
• 1-2 days of work per week. (Friday and Monday)
• W-2 position. $20.00 per hour.

 
Duties (not limited to):

• General maintenance and facility repairs.
• Occasional trips to hardware store. 
• Prepare target stands for classes.
• Trim grass.
• Empty trash cans.
• Wind flag repair.
• Steel target repair.
• Prepare/clean classroom.
• Prepare/clean mini cabins.
• Keep range vehicles operable.
• Organization of tool shop.
• Winterizing.
• Tours & New member orientations.
• Occasional retail transactions.

 
Range Manager should be a trustworthy, self motivated, and highly organized individual who strives for excellence. Someone who can identify flaws to repair, without direction or supervision.

• Must be legally able to possess, or be in close proximity of firearms.
• Must have a reliable vehicle capable of transporting, or towing of, lumber and other large supplies.
• Must have reliable form of communication (cell phone and email).
• Mechanical and/or welding experience a plus.
• Preferably lives within Missaukee or Kalkaska County.
• Range Safety Officer experience is a plus, but not necessary.
• Current MTC members have preference. 
• Military veterans have preference.
