Course Overview
Fundamental Carbine is a 1 day course for all levels of carbine shooters and perfect for beginner shooters. Regardless of skill level, if you are new to MTC carbine training, it is recommended you start here.
Students will receive instruction and practical application of:
Lunch will be provided on site.
*6 student minimum. If the minimum is not met tuition will be fully refunded.
Minimum Skill Course Requirements:
None. It is recommended that shooters have a working knowledge and familiarity of the weapon they intend to use.

- Weapons safety,
- Fundamentals of marksmanship,
- Shooting positions,
- Loading and unloading,
- Malfunction clearance.
- And more.

None. It is recommended that shooters have a working knowledge and familiarity of the weapon they intend to use.
Gear List:
Mandatory
- Semiautomatic AR15 style carbine with sling
- 3 magazine with minimum 1 belt mag pouch/carriers.
- 300 rounds practice ammo (minimum).
- Eye and ear protection.
- Billed, baseball style hat.
- Suitable clothing for outdoor training.
- Note taking Gear (pencil, paper, & clipboard)
- Hat, long sleeve shirt and pants.
- Snacks and beverages.
- Personal semiautomatic pistol with:
- Strong side holster and sturdy belt.
- 2 magazine with belt mag pouch/carriers.
- 100 rounds pistol ammo.
- Sun screen and bug repellent.
- Individual belt mounted medical kit
