Course Description
Premier Training Services presents Tactical Emergency Casualty Care (T.E.C.C.) and First Aid/ CPR Certification Basic Bleeding Control, First Aid, CPR, and Tactical Medical Response are courses that were designed for the MTC community. This 8 hour course teaches participants the current best practice recommendations for how to manage life-threatening emergencies. In addition, the course addresses the basic tactical emergency medical skills needed to effectively manage a crisis.
The course consists of lecture and practical skills application.
The 8 hour class includes:
No Experience Necessary.
Limited Seating.
Dress for indoor and outdoor training.
Bring snacks and beverages for full day, lunch is provided.

Instructor Bios
Darcy Leutzinger
Darcy brings over 30 years of law enforcement & private security expertise. He served in various positions including Field Training Officer, Undercover Narcotics Officer, Detective and Patrol Executive Lieutenant before retiring from the position of Executive Lieutenant of the Special Investigations/Narcotics Enforcement for the Warren, Michigan police department, a municipality that borders Detroit. During his tenure with the Warren PD, Darcy served as Commander of the SWAT team for 23 years. Darcy was responsible for developing an executive protection team, investigation team, and training program for a Fortune 500 conglomerate. Darcy is also a former Advanced Emergency Medical Technician (AEMT/Paramedic) and qualified as Fire Fighter 1 with the State of Michigan. He also previously served as Senior Instructor/Coordinator for the Macomb Emergency Services Training Center and SWAT Basic/Advanced School.
Lindsay Gietzen
Lindsay brings her extensive medical expertise. As a physician’s assistant, she practiced in emergency/trauma medicine in Detroit, Michigan and then specialized in neurological surgery, leading a team that developed and performed many procedures for the first time in the United States. Lindsay is an Associate Professor and Clinical Coordinator at Michigan State University’s College of Osteopathic Medicine where she specializes in simulation and educational evaluation. She is a Member of the Michigan Academy of Physician Assistants, American Academy of Physician Assistants, Physician Assistant Education Association, and Director at Large of the Association of Neurosurgical Physician Assistants. She is currently serving an appointment to the American Council on Education, where she is an expert faculty evaluator for military medical programs on behalf of the Department of Defense.
