VBO is a 2 day tactics course for advanced shooters. This course focuses on fighting from and around thin skinned (unarmored) vehicles, during vehicle-bonre operation in non-permissive environments. Basic organization and conduct of convoy operations.

Mandatory:
· 3 magazines minimum
· Chest or belt mounted magazine pouches/carriers
Students will receive instruction and practical application of:
- Weapons safety.
- Use of cover/Vehicle hard points.
- Evacuating a vehicle.
- Engaging from a static/moving vehicle.
- Engaging vehicle threats.
- Team movement.
- Ballistic lab.
- Ricochet lab.
- Vehicle convoy organization and planning.
- Immediate action to contact and down vehicles.
- Ambush avoidance.

Minimum skill level requirement:
- Advanced Carbine (C2) NO EXCEPTIONS.
- Shooters must have successfully passed The MTC Carbine Standard or have the ability to pass.
