This class has a low equipment barrier to enter and takes on an exploratory approach to the learning process. Meaning the shooters showing up with their typical hunting rifles will be learning about what their real world expectations should be according to their personal and equipment performance in the course. There are no equipment restrictions.

The course will be broken up into 5 different blocks of instruction as listed below.
- Zero/Zero Confirmation: Students are given a brief on the different zero distances and the benefits of them. This is followed by the zero process and reindex of the turrets.
- Chronograph: The students will all have their rifles chronographed and the information obtained will be explained to them in detail.
- Intro to Ballistic Software: The students will then download the Geo Ballistics application and build a gun profile based on the information obtained.
- Validate and True: The class will then engage targets from 200 out to 500yrds in order to validate the data from the ballistic software. If truing the data is necessary students are given instruction on how to do this.
- 3-5 Stage Field Course: A 3-5 stage field course will be shot. The instructor will ID the targets for students and dictate the position that the students need to shot the targets from.
