Field Course Concept
Until fully established, the field course is restricted to MTC Members Only.
This self paced archery course simulates target engagements in a natural environment. All targets must be located, ranged, and then engaged from the marked positions. The well groomed rolling 0.75 mile course is made to be walked, or utilize our golf carts (when available).
*Driveway gate combo is the same as MTC's. Use the driveway gate, or access via walking/cart path through Range #10.

3D Archery Course - Coming Spring of 2023
- ABSOLUTELY NO BROADHEADS!!! Field tips only!
- Targets are not rated for crossbows.
- A 50 yard practice range is built behind the Range Master's cabin.
- Our course offers 30 scorable target positions with a mix of DELTA MCKENZIE and RINEHART targets.
- Download score card here , or pick one up at the Range Master's cabin.
- At each target engagement position you shoot only one arrow for score.
- For target engagement positions with multiple targets, you choose which target to shoot for score. The other target(s) may be engaged, unscored, just for fun.
- Each target engagement position is clearly marked with a white stake topped with a position number for compound bow. A yellow stake placed at 60% distance is for traditional bows. A orange stake is placed at 40% distance is for youth archers. RULES: Either foot, must be touching the stake while engaging the target.
- Most target engagement stakes are placed 50 yards or closer from the target for compound bows, 30 yards or closer for traditional bows, and 20 yards or closer for youth archers. With the exception for a few larger longer range targets.
- WARNING!!! There are live fire ranges in the immediate area. STAY ON THE TRAIL, with the exception of retrieving your arrow from the archery target. To avoid walking into danger areas, if you loose an arrow do not search further than 20 yards radius from the target. If multiple people are on the course, be courteous of other archer's time.
